The CSPPA Fallen Officer Relief Fund

The mission of the newly formed CSPPA Fallen Officer Relief Fund (F.o.R.F.), a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization, is to provide immediate financial assistance to Pikes Peak region law enforcement officers who have been catastrophically injured or killed in the line of duty.  Assistance includes, but is not limited to, direct cash contributions to officers and their immediate family members, transportation and local hotel accommodations, meals, and the provision of miscellaneous sundries.

Oversight of the Fund is provided by a six-person Board of Directors, comprised of Colorado Springs Police Protective Association members who are sworn officers of the Colorado Springs Police Department.  The goal of the Board of Directors is to grow the F.o.R.F. through community, corporate, and individual donations, to enable a rapid response when law enforcement crises occur.

Thank you in advance for supporting those individuals who dedicate their lives to protecting  our communities.  Please contact us at 719-634-0058 if you have any additional questions.

“As our Fallen Heroes were there for us, this is but a small way for us to give back to their families during these heartbreaking times.”—Det. Jeff Jensen (brother of Det. Jared Jensen EOW 2/22/06)
