  • Gun Sale: CSPPA-facilitated gun sale nearing completion: approximately 60 weapons sold to CSPD sworn and civilian employees.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Board member brought forward concerns regarding CSPD Use of Force Study, specifically the soon-to-be rolled out public survey component. Questions to be addressed with Department by S. Dillon and information to be relayed to board.
    • Status of Department’s budget for leased vehicles brought into question. Dillon to follow up.
    • Board discussed making building available to Pipes and Drums for meetings and practices. To be considered at June board meeting.
  • Executive Director Report:
    • 2021 Christmas Gala: Antler’s Hotel anticipates being able to move forward with events. Awaiting further information.
    • Summer Party: Discussed holding an outdoor summer event in lieu of Christmas gala; is under consideration.
    • Investment RFP: The board voted to move investment accounts to a different firm in part due to current investment advisor not submitting an application during the RFP process. Details to be released at a later date.
    • Municipal Gym: New flooring is in and awaiting installation.  Commercial floor fans ordered; equipment repairs on-going.
